Part Four
Yesterday I said that proof is a state of our mind. It is up to our mind to decide if evidence presented in support of something, is proof. Regardless of the evidence, the mind will validate it or not, as proof. If it is valid proof, we begin to trust it and develop a little bit of faith. Our mind seems to go on judging evidence presented by our five senses with ease but what about love? Here is an example where there may not be any physical evidence to judge, yet we all know something powerful is happening when love is involved. Our mind searches our heart for proof of love, compassion, understanding… the laws God has written on the tablets of our heart and in our mind, judging proof ya or nay.
Our mind is perfectly capable of operating without any of our five senses’ inputs. Between the mind and the heart we can understand anything as long as we have proof. Proof does not have to come from all or any of our senses, but can be recognized with the heart and the mind alone. With proof, we begin to trust, with trust we begin developing faith, with faith we come to believe, If it is God’s Word you have trusted, developed faith in, and come to believe, you will be instantly filled with the promised holy spirit.
If it is the Love of God that you desire, you will find it by searching your own heart. Do not listen to others who think they know you and tell you they can lead you to God. Regardless of what anyone says or does, your mind will decide its merit. Your mind and heart together is all anyone needs to unlock the wisdom and knowledge presented to us in the Bible. Do not be lead astray by someone else’s declared knowledge of God and be told how, what, when, why, and where you should be thinking and doing as a Christian. No one but you knows what God wrote in your heart and mind. It is likely as unique as you yourself.

God’s Word is powerful and exerts force, changing a secular view point to a spiritual one. Choose for yourself which one is better, the secular or the spiritual.
To choose the secular over the spiritual will require you to lie to yourself, a difficult task if at all possible. The spiritual view will align with your heart and mind creating a burst of joy that for me sent shivers down my back. My mind had approved the evidence presented by the two different viewpoints as proof…the first I had ever recognized!
